I guess you could say I really like hope…a lot. I guess you could also say hope is kind of a big deal. Without it, life turns far too dark and way too painful much too fast.

I’ve resided in that hopeless and lonely place before. But I’m coming to know a restored way as I learn to choose and cultivate hope in my life. While I am ever growing, I know enough to know that I never want to live without it.

True hope has substance; it’s not just wishful thinking. True hope is rooted in who God says He is, who He says we are, and what He says He will do. To live with deep rooted hope is to live deeply rooted in God. It truly is an anchor for our souls.

Hope knows that my circumstances do not get to dictate my level of joy or gratitude. Nor does it mean my past gets to dictate my future. (That’s good news right there!) Hope says, “Don’t give up. This is not the end of the story.” Hope believes in a future filled with better, not worse. Hope looks beyond the surface and seeks to know what God says on the matter at hand. Hope is the confident expectation of GOOD.

So I guess it’s not just kind of a big deal. It is a big deal.

That’s why I’m devoted to living a lifestyle of hope and inspiring others in the same.

Have a look around. You’ll find down to earth writings, soulful photography, encouraging melodies, and overall, you’ll find a place here where I share a bit more of my heart and life with you. And I look forward to that because I am grateful for YOU and am expectant for what God is doing in and through your life as you grow in Hope.  💗
